Background:
The legend of Bigfoot or Sasquatch begins in Indigenous North American folklore of a large, human-like being covered in hair found roaming the wilderness of Washington and Oregon. The Legend been to gain national recognition in the 1950s when newspapers began reporting

incidents of extremely large footprints found by hikers in the Western States. Leading to widely known today nickname of Bigfoot. Throughout the years there have now been thousands of reports across the United States leading enthusiasts to continue the search for the Sasquatch.
Experts:
After the release of the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film the hunt was at its peak. The director of the Bigfoot information center in Oregon involved the FBI, sending them 15 hairs of the potential Sasquatch. The tests were inconclusive leaving Bigfoot a mystery.
Today:
With nearly 400 years of documented sightings throughout North America of a creature leaving large footprints roaming the Forests of Washington, California, and Florida there is still, no concrete evidence of Bigfoots existance leaving it myth.
